- Today is Phylene’s last Sunday with us. She will be returning to her home church in Santa Barbara. A Please celebrate with us in the parish hall after church. Thank you, Phylene for today’s flowers. From Phylene: The past eight months I’ve spent with you have been a time of discernment for me. The process has opened my eyes to unexpected joys and given me a new sense of my ministry calling. I am grateful to each of you for the different roles that you have played in this process. Thank you for your patience with my limited Spanish and for the commitment you’ve made to listen with me (especially those on my discernment committee). I am grateful for Melissa’s support and openness. This has all helped me grow and get clearer about how I can serve in God’s church. I have been blessed by the gifts of your friendship and fellowship. And I am grateful. Thank you and blessings!
